Commercial Customer Success Manager – Growth & Expansion

Xait is looking for a dynamic, commercially driven Customer Success Manager (CSM) to join our matrixed organization, reporting directly to the General Manager (USA) / Chief Revenue Officer (Norway). In this role, you will be the ultimate commercial champion for our assigned clients, ensuring they maximize their ROI while you actively drive Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth across your portfolio.
While we have a dedicated team that handles the heavy lifting of technical onboarding, training, and support, your focus will be on the strategic and commercial health of the account. By monitoring user adoption to prevent churn, confidently connecting with new leads, demonstrating the solution's value to new user groups, and leveraging digital tools to expand our footprint, you will be a vital catalyst for our continued global expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Ownership & Revenue Growth
Drive the Bottom Line: Fully manage the commercial relationship with assigned clients, taking ownership of contract reviews, repricing, negotiations, and renewals.
Expand the Account: Target ARR growth through proactive, strategic upselling and cross-selling of Xait solutions and features to existing clients.
Pipeline Management: Utilize Salesforce (SFDC) daily to manage your commercial pipeline, update management on financial risks and achievements, and track KPIs.
Adoption Monitoring & Account Strategy
Data-Driven Expansion: Naturally monitor client adoption rates and usage metrics—not to provide technical support, but to proactively identify upsell opportunities and promptly mitigate any churn or contraction risks.
Solution Demonstration: Maintain a deep understanding of the Xait platform to expertly demonstrate its capabilities and value proposition to potential new users and departments within your existing accounts.
Strategic Orchestration: Act as the strategic bridge between the customer and our dedicated Support, Delivery, and Training teams, ensuring the client realizes continuous value after their initial handover.
Networking & Brand Advocacy
Expand the Footprint: Confidently connect and meet with new leads. Actively ask client contacts for introductions to local, regional, and global teams to uncover new growth areas.
Digital Thought Leadership: Proactively use LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to reach out to prospects, promoting Xait as a market thought leader.
Event Presence: Identify, plan for, and attend relevant trade shows, exhibitions, and industry conferences to grow your network and engage with the market.
Product Feedback & Improvement
Be the Subject-Matter Expert (SME): Act as a strategic focal point, truly understanding your clients' high-level challenges and showcasing how Xait's solutions solve them.
Voice of the Customer: Translate commercial usage metrics and executive feedback into actionable insights for the product development team to align future functionality with market demand.

Who We Are Looking For
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercially focused Customer Success, Key Account Management, or strategic B2B Sales role.
Domain Expertise: A significant understanding of tender and bid processes, particularly within large organizations where multidisciplinary teams collaborate to compile complex submissions or general documents.
Commercial Acumen: A proven track record of managing contracts, negotiating renewals, and driving account expansion.
Communication & Engagement: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You are passionate about connecting with new leads and clearly articulating ROI to diverse executive stakeholders.
High-Paced Performer: Highly adaptable and energized by working in a dynamic environment where managing multiple commercial priorities is key.
Digital Savvy: Highly capable of using digital tools (specifically LinkedIn/Sales Navigator) to build brand awareness and drive outreach.
Technical Stack: Hands-on experience using CRM systems (Salesforce and/or Hubspot strongly preferred) to manage pipelines and track daily activities. Experience with XaitPorter is an advantage.
Professionalism: A collaborative team player who demonstrates high integrity, adheres to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and contributes to a positive corporate culture.
